Who I am

Originally from London, I've lived in 6 countries and speak 5 languages. I now live in rural Catalonia - learning to inhabit a village of under 300 people proved to be the most intense cultural adaptation I've ever experienced. The subtle shifts in identity, belonging, and self-expression that come with cultural transition are something I understand from the inside.

After more than a decade in academic research, I made my own exit from academia. I know first-hand the particular "stuckness" that comes with leaving a prestigious path: the guilt, the identity crisis, the fear of throwing away everything you've worked for. I also know what it takes to slowly rebuild with clarity and purpose on the other side.
